‘Trampolonica’, the follow-up remix album to Miriam Ingram’s widely acclaimed debut release ‘Trampoline’, is
being launched on 11th December in Kennedy’s, Westland Row, Dublin 2.
‘Trampolonica’ is an electronic version of ‘Trampoline’, Miriam’s debut album that was released in October
2006 to rave reviews. The new remix album ‘Trampolonica’ features remixes by leading electronica artists,
both from Ireland and abroad, re-mixing the original songs featured on the Trampoline album. Only the
original audio files have been used in the remixes adding up to incredibly diverse and alluring versions of
Miriam’s work by artists including Decal, Sunken Foal (Ambulance), Fairlights, Jason Forrest (Cockrock
Disco), Herv, Ian McDonnell (Lakker) and The Last Sound.
At the ‘Trampolonica’ launch concert on December 11th remix artists will perform live versions of their
interpretations of Miriam’s music including Ian McDonnell, Locus Solus and Fairlights. Miriam and her own
full band will also perform a rare concert so it will be an evening to remember.
‘Trampoline’ continues to receive airplay and positive reviews with Totally Dublin proclaiming, “If
Hieronymus Bosch were alive today, this is the music he would paint to…”. As one of the most inspired
artists in Dublin today, Miriam continues to remove limits and take her music in infinite directions.
